The 2020 Annual Meeting of the Arizona State Association of Parliamentarians was held via Zoom on Saturday August 8, 2020 from 9am til 3:30pm. - Revising Robert’s Rules by Dan Seabold, PRP. Dan takes us through the interesting story of how he was recruited to be on the Robert’s Rules Committee, and then gives us some insight into how the revision process works.
- Fun With Amendments by Paul Lamb, PRP-R, CPT. Paul gives us a fast-paced 4-minute scripted motion with amendments to follow (or at least try to!), and then follows up with advice on how and when to “fill in the blanks”.
- NAP Update by Darlene Allen, PRP and President of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP). Darlene provided an overview of business and financial information for both the national and state associations (NAP and ASAP). She explained the goals for20% increases in member recruitment, retention, and reactivation (of prior members).
