The Arizona Agua Fria Unit is taking the summer months off, as many units do here in Arizona – and I suspect in other parts of the country as well, but especially here where it’s hot and there’s a fair amount of “snow bird retreat”.
But there will be no lack of educational opportunities for this who are interested. July, August, and September will have a variety of meetings up and down the NAP organizational hierarchy.
District 8 2021 Convention
The Arizona association joins California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, and China associations – plus members at large in Japan and Malaysia – to make up what we like to call The Elite Eight… NAP’s District 8. Planning is well underway for a two-day event Friday and Saturday July 30-31, including seven educational workshop sessions. NAP members (from any District!) are invited to register for $15, which will get you entry into all sessions on both days. Non-NAP members can attend all sessions for $25.
Check out more information here on the District 8 web site.
ASAP 2021 Annual Meeting
The Arizona State Association of Parliamentarians will hold its annual meeting and educational sessions on Saturday August 21. With three educational workshops and a registration fee of $12, we invite you to see more information on the ASAP web site here.
NAP National Convention
NAP made a late decision to go virtual with the biennial convention this year, so their web site has sparse information as the planning team scrambles to finalize the details. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
